Everyone, lets donate!

I was thinking last night/today about how many players we have, and how few donators. I have a simple idea; keep in mind, I gain nothing here, and have already donated 5 euros myself.

The average Xbox 360/ps3 game costs $60 USD; if you play it for 20-30 hours, you have paid about $2 and hour for it. If we ALL donated $7 USD( which is about 5 Euros) and yet play an average of 24 hours to be a member of the server in a month, that would only be about 30 cents per hour of playtime!!!

Think, if 20 or 30 of us do this, it would really add up! Why am I asking this? I am spending alot of time building, and would hate to see the server go away for lack of funds, etc. Not only that, I would like to see it WORTH IT for nide to keep it up!!!

BTW nide and others, I do not want a red name, or to be a mod, please! I am also not suggesting people donate every month, but lets start somewhere!!!! I am just trying to help create an awesome community of dedicated builders, who also give back! Ideas??

I agree, its just I dont have a way to donate. Im only 13, so I dont have a credit card/paypal ect.

I can ask my dad, however he most likely wouldn't understand.

However, if you DO have a credit card. I don't see whats stopping you.

For your information:
Every donation you send stays on my PayPal account and helps me keeping the server up, paying the bills and upgrading it.

If there are enough active players and donations I'll upgrade the server (Better CPU/More RAM/SSD Harddrive)
If you donate an amount over 10Eur/10USD you can have a dark red colored name, if you want

The "You received a donation"-emails really make my day

I say don't upgrade your server, but if u get a surplus of money, it just means you can keep the current server running for longer,its boring but sensible, i feel.

There was a setup fee of 150 Eur + 4 month running now = 350 Eur

I got total donations of 90 Euro
I also got about 50 Euro donations from bukkit.org for Stats and Achievements. I will release more plugins when bukkit is more stable and support is less time-consuming

If I would get an Euro for every hour i was working on things that would be another 200 Eur (i heard good coders cost 50+/h o0)
