I have an idea! Let's add a section to the forums!

How's about we add a new sticky/pinned to every section on the forums. Let's call it: The Rules.

I spent maybe 10 seconds looking on here for the rules and couldn't find them. That, right there, is unacceptable in my eyes. I don't want to have to be linked to find the rules. I don't want to dig to find them. I don't want to go anywhere past ONE subsection for them. That kind of thing is something I am hoping to avoid, because I apparently missed the hidden rules of Craftland. One specifically, was about "No AFK machines". This is not grounds to talk about how it breaks the game or whatever, it's an example.

I don't recall seeing anything when I signed up for the forum about the rules. And Hell, if I did, I must have missed it. Now that's where this comes in. You need the ability to quickly and easily find the rules. Even if the rules all apply to the same subsection, even if they're the exact same, word for word, they need to be posted somewhere within 2-5 clicks away from the Board Index. I suggest pinning it to the Main Forum at the very least, or maybe making a section of it's own in the Index, that way it's. Right. There.

This is but a suggestion, and I really am hoping that I'm not expected that "all rules from other boards should be expected on here" applies.

I only ever click on 3 buttons on the Craftland website, forums, chat, and vote. Forums being the most often clicked.
I think this would be a great idea, as it would help many players, including older ones such as myself, to find the rules.

I would also like to suggest a sign in Beginner and EVERY /spawn area giving the (shortened) URL or some sort of direction to the rules posted here.. 10 signs don't cover everything.

I'd also like to suggest: Failure to read the tabs at the top of the page. Herpderp.

FAQ/Rules does not state half the rules people get banned for.

Example: afk machines.

Not all rules should had to be mentioned since there're allot of them which fits into another.
Most things are obvious that you may not do, its just common sense, which they would lack.

Hey, the afk machines thing I didn't know until a few months ago, and I've been playing for a loooooooooookng time. Although in fact, they don't keep you from going afk, that's chats. If you watch the aetherbattles gold dungeon episode, by 5 minutes in we all have "AFK" over our heads 'cause we're not chatting.

It's not particularly difficult to edit the facts/rules...

But due to not having them in the rules, therefore the admins would be in the wrong for banning a player that did not break the rules. Unless the community is complete shit they should then be unbanned for not breaking rules.
