Well why not update the moa when somebody gets off it, and not constantly?

Then whats the point, If you want to track your moa but your moa is almost never going to be where it says it is. Most of the lost moas are from them wandering off and falling out of the world.

Even a general estimate (as this system would give players) would be better than nothing. With that, they could at least search the area around the last sighting. If it's in the Aether, they can search the area below.

I still dont see the point, it would just be the same as setting a warp or a waypoint when you get off your moa. I don't think its worth the work for a barely passable feature that would bug out a lot.

Well, the fact of the matter is that most don't set waypoints or warps there. This moa tracker would help people look for their prized black moa that they left in the aether a year ago. Doesn't have to bug out.

how about a refresh button that refreshes all your moas.

Only loads when you want them too. Maybe also a limit of once a minute or something.
