Keep in mind this may drastically reduce the amount of votes we get if we add alternative methods to getting votepoints through donating, or simply in-game cash.

Let's just make this theoretical scenario where votepoints and credits are the same thing. People may use their extra money to convert into credits, not to mention give themselves hundreds by donating. So then someone who donates with credits has little need to continue voting.

This is just some food for thought. If voting were to give you a lot of credits, this can be very practical to implement; however, I would add a in-a-row prize for voting (after 1 day of continuous voting 1 credit, 3 days can give you 2, up to a week) instead.

It should be a one way thing, votepoints to credits. not the other way around.

I think that's what Fearful meant. Adam understood the idea in a wrong way.

No. No, No, No. The same thing that happened with the voteshop thus happens with the credit shop. The value of items decreases drastically. That may not be bad, but it would also decrease the amount of votes even more. Let's put this in perspective. Why would players donate to get credits, or vote to get credits, when players like Porkanna will expand their votepoint to coin business to credit to coin business. This means that Porkanna will turn some of his votepoints into credits, and new players will say "Hey, rather than do these annoying captcha's for 6 months to get one hat, let's work for some money for 20 minutes and buy the items from Porkanna in a day. This further decreases the amount of votes Craftland gets, which has already decreased due to people like Porkanna selling voteshop items for coins. The reason being: Premium IV+ can get 16 votepoints a day (or something like that), while normal players can get 4. It takes months for a regular player to get Valk armor, and days for a premium player to get it. Why wait months, when they can just skip the voting process and buy the armor for coins?

Yes, this could be implemented. But at the price of less players joining the sever. We've already fallen far back enough on minestatus and other websites. If we continue to give normal players reasons to not vote, we will fall even farther back into the void of these serverlists, and will be another faceless minecraft server struggling to attract players.

Is that what you want? Is that what any of you want?
