It is a fair idea, but it is so minute that I don't think he should put effort into coding it. If nide coded all the small ideas that were suggested, no one would care except for the person who originally requested. We'd also be missing a lot of the features that have impact.

It would also not be very compatible with actual leveled slimes, or it'd be outright confusing.

In vanilla Minecraft each slime IS identified by levels, the game can only spawn levels 1,2 and 3. If you edit the slime's NBT string (I think thats how it goes) you can raise the levels higher. You can check the Minecraft wiki about this. Nide just needs made it so it can spawn higher levels of the slime.

One question:

Why?

I thought before that is was supposed to increase hardness, but if it's purely aesthetic... especially since both types don't have exactly a gigantic spawn rate... why?
