Sadly, prot IV armor of any type decreases damage to 0, and there are armors like pheonix that have a BASE effect that would negate the lava creeper's ability etc..

Really in my opinion these are 2 completely pointless mods, Aether II is being added soon therefore I think the dungeouns there will already give you a lot of challenge

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to that - sadly, after one of the recent updates, I get about one frame every three to four seconds. Oh well. Someday I'll figure out how to update my drivers and actually do it, but until then... Tf2!
