AFK Blocker

Before you go "OH NOES", it's not that kind of AFK Blocker.

Upon 5 minutes of inactivity, AFK Mode is activated, which removes their ability to be pushed by other entities, much like our poof. This could help prevent AFK killers and the such.

People shouldn't be able to be pushed period. The should just walk through people.

The problem with that is if someone is AFK and you are building a house or something and you want to place a block where they are standing. And from what Bart posted someone killed him with fire, not pushing also I need to look into this more is how could a normal player place fire at spawn? It must be A a bug (Mabey with Phoenix bow) or a admin. I need to test but I know mods can't build at a "spawn" Flint and steel may work though.

Phoenix bow's create A sort of "fake fire" that cannot light players on fire, just shows the animation when you stand on the block that was shot.

This is true in all regions except PvP regions. I'm not so sure about flint and steel, though.

i agree on this. Making people who go afk just walk through seems like the best bet. Yes you will be annoyed when building something, but we're talking about a max of 8 blocks that can be blocked.. just build them when he goes offline? Also, limiting the afk period might help (5 min = afk, 50min = kick)

I agree with Bart's idea on a max afk time. I would like to say half an hour, as at that point they've been gone long enough to assume that they may be gone for a long time. 50 minutes may as well be an hour and the same thing is said, just a more likely chance that's what happened.

I also like the entity idea. It prevents any AFK machines that allow them to stay "active". I've built an infinite reverse-waterslide recently, and realized that it had actually counted as me being active. It also makes it so that people can't screw with an AFK person and sand them to death (Maybe not, because then the sand becomes a block) or use water to push them to fall to their doom or whatever.

autokick wont work if they are in a non-afk machine, since they are not "afk".
also going afk and getting back dead is there own fold, since it is not hard to press esc and disconnect isnt that hard to do.
