Get rid of fog in DV.

Post by hiddensavage » Sat Oct 28, 2017 9:00 pm

Here is why I want this removed. It makes anything large built covered in this ugly white or black fog. I am not talking about the ominous wood's fog. I am talking about the fog in every biome after a certain distance in DV.
To get to the point, I talked to nick and apparently what it does is helps "transition" into biomes with fog. In my opinion I would much rather be able to see what I am building from far away and anything else in general than have this ugly fog cover the whole landscape to help transition for ONE biome no one likes anyway (I hope).
So if enough players agree with me on this, please get rid of the fog in DV. If you don't know what I am talking about the fog in daytime starts around 80 blocks, at night time it is longer.

You used to be able to do so, just change the options file in the craftland map, the downside to that I was able to make a xray bug, (reported that obviously) and it got fixed and hard-coded to a specific max setting.
