A n00b question!

Post by Blackjack » Mon Sep 17, 2012 2:34 am

That's right folks! A question that's probably been answered! There's probably already a thread on the forum about this (of which I can not find) But... texturepacks?

Where are the files for the aether textures? I went spelunking in the .jar and the terrain.png was only normal world textures. Then I found some other stuff on glare textures, and other blahblahblahblah.

So basically, where are dem files?

Note: I'm interested in editing/making texture packs, not just installing them.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

I actually found a bunch of the files. I edited them but nothing happened.

Try downloading sphax and the patch for the aether. Then customize from there. You'll still run into issues with armor for some reason. I recommend changing the armor back to aether default if it bothers you.
