Are you able to jump in this because in all of his other games you could never jump and i just did not like that

Actually, now that you say that, you sort of can. Press Space near something to take cover, then press W and hold it and hold shift. You jump over the wall.
If that counts, you cant actually perform a freestanding jump, but it is primarily a stealth game.

As I said, it's primarily stealth. So you shouldn't be jumping as much as you would in say, Battlefield 3.
