Gay marriage is a right. Everyone should have the freedom to do whatever the fuck they want in a country that is supposedly founded on the belief in individual liberties. Gay people are no exception. People are all free to do whatever they want. Government can't control yours or my feelings. They can't control what we like, who we love, or what we hate. They can try to regulate and control, but, you will never change the minds of every single one of your citizens.

On the subject of the Confederate flag; it belongs in a museum. No government building should sponsor or promote any organized belief system besides ones that are national, like our belief in freedoms.

Flags of the 50 states are not national, neither are flags of the red cross, the rainbow flag, etc. Not being allowed to fly the confederate flag would be the same as banning any flag. Why can't one be allowed to fly a piece of colored cloth if he wants to?
