Is the Nether/End hard enough?

Post by pig001 » Wed Nov 23, 2016 6:09 pm

Im looking for any opinions on the nether and end, and if people think its too difficult, not difficult enough, any ideas how to do either of the two options?

Furthermore, is there any features from vanilla or other mods people would like to see added to either dimension?

Thanks in advance.

uggg, here is the problem. The enderdragon is easy for OP players yet are for non OP players... so making it harder would just limit how many people can fight it.

Enderdragon is easy... If you're an OP player. It's hard enuff for the noobs. Instead of buffing bosses/mobs, why don't we nerf the OP shit?

That's why I didn't say nerf everyone. Nerf the really op shit. Like in other games, the better tier stuff you have, the less you gain from each tier.

Imagine this scenario. 5 weapons are sorted from worst to best. In the Craftland system, we do the following.

Tier one -> 50% increase to tier two -> 55% increase to tier 3 -> 60% increase to tier 4 -> 75% increase to tier 5

In reality, it should be more like this:

Tier one -> 100% increase to tier 2 -> 90% increase to tier 3 -> 80% increase to tier 4 -> 70% increase to tier 5, etc.

Do you understand what im saying? The system should reward hard work and the achieving of new items, but, the higher tier you go, the less difference their is between the items. That is how many other games do it and thats how we should do it.

I 100% agree with this!

Just don't be able to wear armor at all in end or nether, instead of screwing players over while they are trying to get better.

OT: End is just fine, rather fix the dragon while he goes full retard, Nether is practicly rarely used and has no point of making it harder, just replace the world and make a new nether world with additions.
First player to receive helper status while still being banned (and demoted shortly after)
First player with a Monsterhunt highscore above 100.000.

Maybe getting rid of Nether related Mob Spawners would actually make the Nether less useless (Wither Skeleton Spawners was the biggest mistake)...

As for the end, I honestly think there is too many instances and are exploited very easily.
