Hey guys, I have another thread about my computer
I haven't been on the server a lot lately, and that's because for a while now my wifi speed on my desktop is so slow. Our home internet speed averages 1.3 mb/s (Ik, that sucks, but no one else supplies internet where I live) And the shitty little 2010 mac mini that's so filled with crap I hate to touch it actually loads stuff, because it's right by the motem, and isn't wireless. My computer in my room, which has a wireless card, can't really do shit recently. My wifi card is some "INTELLINET" piece o' crap. Bought it for around 20$. I'm wondering, to improve my speed do I get a new card, or will a new antenna work?
Last facts: I don't need a card that can handle like, 15 mb/s or something, because Im never going to have that. The card is PCI, and I'd prefer to stick with PCI. If you guys know anything, please respond, because slow internet is rage inducing like nothing else.

Re: Hardware Question
Ok, thanks for feedback, but, unfortunately, wire = not a option. I'd have to do it through all the hallways and upstairs etc, and also, VepaS Idk what you mean but "Why do you use modem? Just use internet, its faster." Just tossin out here that Im a complete n00b in the internet hardware/software field. So... dumb it down for me?
