yeah but in your version there was a bug where all the tools other than the lance didn't have the reach they were supposed to

Why dont you jsut look up what a item should do and test it, then report it on the forums (like the first post).
Then you will find all the anwsers quicker.

I checked the valykrie tools; they all have the reach they're supposed to (Which is much greater than usual). However, thie makes your aether better than the normal aether; in the normal aether the valykrie pick, shovel, and axe all had the reach of normal tools. That bug has yet to be fixed in SSP.
