^^ I was slightly worried about this, but seriously, I don't think it'll be a huge problem; compared to grinders, dragonslaying is nothin'.
Dragon slaying is quicker and more profitable.

It sounds awesome! now lets say we want to defeat the ender dragon we dont have to walk a million chunks from island to island to find one, we just wait 48 hours!

My only problem is that strongholds are not infinite, so that means not everyone has access to the end. Those who do, and share their portals have to compete to kill the dragon every 48 hours. Disabling travelling between each island makes it harder for everyone to fight the dragon. That was my only opinion.

Not having a dragon, makes it harder to fight the dragon.
This isn't a fixable issue, really, and enabling travel between islands just makes it worse, as people will just grind every dragon, well, everywhere, making your argument flip-side, and anyone owning a stronghold is going to be pissed.

What could be possible is that those who own a stronghold with a working portal, can make a list of people who want to fight then. but it is unlike that this will happen, as they also might want to fight it them self.
Or they can organize a fight with a party for those who want to fight.

Nide changed the date for it to be reset. It will probably be with the next update, which is in testing now as i have seen it in action.
