As the title sugests, i have no Minecraft sound. Jukeboxes etc work tho and ive tried literally everything.

Here is what ive tried so far:
-Reinstalling Java, Craftland and my sound drivers.
-F3 and T/S
-Force updating via the launcher
-Disableing Resourcepacks/Shaders
-Changing Mipmap levels (IDk why that should help but le internet says so i tried it)
-Restarting everything 500 times

If you guys dont have any tips, ill make a bug report

There was a little sound button recently implemented and I believe that's the problem! You can find it at the top right of the chatbox when you open it using the chat key:

This button mutes the game, except jukeboxes! Apologies about it not being too visibly clear!

Im pretty sure this only mutes chat sounds, ill try it!

Nope, this did not work. The button only mutes/unmutes the button presses etc. but i still dont have minecraft sound...

a few questions:
1. Are you playing via the CL Launcher or Technic?
2. What OS are you using?
3. Did you experience any other issues in the game?
4. Are music players working as well? (try /musicplayer)
5. Since when are you having this issue? (as exact as you can be)

Some tips if you haven't tried:
1. Make sure the Button that Beandon mentioned is "white" (enabled) - this takes a few seconds until the "sounds" come back
2. Make sure that you didn't accidentally mute the game sounds (or put them on very low levels) in the Options menu

3. Nope, only sound missing
4. Yeah that works, i also hear stuff like sword swings (non-vanilla sounds?)
5. Since 3 days? I stopped playing someday in 2016 and a few days ago i installed Craftland (whole different PC, havent played it on this PC yet)

2. I did not, i also checked my volume mixer and speaker configuration.

I have heard that OpenAL is used for sound but i cant seem to find any OpenAL errors in the log.

So it has never worked on that PC at all?

You can try using Technic see if that makes a difference, won't fix the problem for the normal launcher, but at least we will know if that error is coming from anything Launcher related.

It worked on my old PC, and when i boot it up and test it there it works. Same launcher, same java version, same windows version. Ill try the Technic launcher.

Playing via the Technic launcher works and i do have sound. Thanks!

I can only ask generic questions, maybe if you ask Aaron some more specific questions or logs that you need, it would help solve the problem.
Pretty sure Aaron will help solve this issue if he knows how he can help.
