The blue line is the old mining speed (and is still used for efficency if its less than 5) And the purple line is the formula used for efficency books over 5.

So efficiency X is going to be the same as Efficiency 8 was?

I just showed you the new forumula, efficency X was barely nerfed. plus, don't you think inst-braking almost every block in itself is OP.

The block being insta-mined was a client-sided bug that had been there forever. It was just fixed.

You can still "instamine" holystone or dirt for example. Are we talking about the same thing?

No, I'm talking about how you could insta-mine stone for example. The client code made it so it was fast enough to insta-mine it, but the server code, which was right, made it slower.
