What is the issue with caps?

I was scrolling through the craftland forums when I stumbled upon a thread by NapoleonTheFirst. Apparently he was unsatisfied with the behavior and actions of the staff on this server. I would like to point out some facts. Firstly, it isn't very pleasant to be playing a game and suddenly a brown screen appears and says,"You are the idiot". This statement is very harsh. How can you call someone an idiot just because he was talking in capital letters? Could you at least type in the actual reason that he was banned for? This brings me to my second issue. What is the issue with typing in capital letters? They're letters! They are part of the alphabet. Using them is a way to express emotion. It's not like they're insulting in any way. As a final statement, I suggest that certain members of the staff heed this and consider reforming.

Capitals are there do begin a a sentence with, not to express emotion, do you even write an essay in capitals if you are pissed at that moment? Capitals are there to be used for several reasons, but not to express emotion. You can express emotion in words or using punctuation, which are better to understand then just caps.
Therefor there is no reason to reconsider the 'no caps' rule.

When I see "HOW DO I CRAFT A SADDLE" in the chat, it gets quite annoying. Caps are just annoying to read when a whole sentence is in all caps.
