Achievement Suggestions - Mining/Breaking

The achievement suggestions I am making in this list are entirely based upon mining/breaking blocks.
Just to note, I decided to suggest doing credits as rewards instead of in game money for a few achievements to "try and help" with the economy situation.

Mining Related Achievements

Achievement Name: Truly Outrageous I (Easy)
- Obtained By: Mining a total of 500 gem ores. (Sapphire, Ruby, Zircon etc.).
- Rewards: 2 Credits and 1 Perfect Diamond.

Achievement Name: Truly Outrageous II (Medium)
- Obtained By: Mining a total of 2500 gem ores. (Sapphire, Ruby, Zircon etc.).
- Rewards: 5 Credits, 1 Perfect Diamond, 3 Onyx, 3 Sapphire, 3 Rubies and 3 Zircon.

Achievement Name: Truly Outrageous III (Hard)
- Obtained By: Mining a total of 10000 gem ores. (Sapphire, Ruby, Zircon etc.).
- Rewards: 20 Credits, 10,000 Coins, 1 Perfect Diamond Pickaxe and 1 Unusual Mining Hat.

Achievement Name: Truly Truly Truly.. Outrageous (Insane)
- Obtained By: Mining a total of 50000 gem ores. (Sapphire, Ruby, Zircon etc.).
- Rewards: 50 Credits, 10 Perfect Diamonds, 1 Onyx Block, 1 Sapphire Block, 1 Ruby Block and 1 Zircon Block.

Achievement Name: Gold Supremacy (Hard)
- Obtained By: Break 5000 Gold Ore.
- Rewards: 10 Credits and 1 Notch Apple.

Achievement Name: Diamond Supremacy (Hard/Insane)
- Obtained By: Break 5000 Diamond Ore.
- Rewards: 25 Credits, 15,000 Coins, 3 Perfect Diamonds and 64 Sponge.

Achievement Name: The Perfect Job (Hard/Insane)
- Obtained By: Harvest 50 Perfect Diamonds from Diamond Ore.
- Rewards: 25,000 Coins and 5 Perfect Diamonds.

Achievement Name: "Casual" Mining (Insane)
- Obtained By: Break 2500000 Stone.
- Rewards: 100 Credits, 250,000 Coins, 16 Perfect Diamonds and 1 Spectral Pickaxe.

Achievement Name: Destroyer of Worlds (Insane)
- Obtained By: Mining a total of 5000000 Stone/Holystone.
- Rewards: 1,234,567 Coins, 1 Tourmaline Pickaxe and 1 Efficiency X Enchanted Book.

Achievement Name: The Impenetrable Fortress (Insane)
- Obtained By: Break 5000 Obsidian.
- Rewards: 30 Credits and 1 Perfect Diamond Pickaxe.

Achievement Name: Bad Monster, Bad! (Hard)
- Obtained By: Break 100 Mob Spawners.
- Rewards: 3 Credits and 1 Cake.

Achievement Name: The End. (Hard)
- Obtained By: Break 100000 Endstone.
- Rewards: 1 Cake, 1 Bucket of Milk, 2 Dragon Souls and 50,000 Coins.

Digging Related Achievements

Achievement Name: Digging a Beach (Medium)
- Obtained By: Break 10000 Sand.
- Rewards: 1 Bucket and 1 Diamond Shovel.

Achievement Name: Mud Bath (Easy)
- Obtained By: Break 200 Mud Blocks.
- Rewards: 1 Credit.

Chopping Related Achievements

Achievement Name: Got Wood? (Insane)
- Obtained By: Break 100000 Oak Wood.
- Rewards: 50 Credits, 100,000 Coins and 1 Perfect Diamond Axe.

Achievement Name: Heavenly Lumberjack II (Hard)
- Obtained By: Break 10000 Skyroot Logs.
- Rewards: 3 Credits, 1 Gravitite Axe, 32 Green Skyroot Saplings and 32 Blue Skyroot Saplings.

Achievement Name: Lumberjack in the Shadows I (Medium)
- Obtained By: Break 2500 Shadow Oak Logs/Dark Skyroot Logs.
- Rewards: 5 Credits, 5,000 Coins, 5 Shadow Oak Saplings and 5 Dark Skyroot Saplings.

Achievement Name: Lumberjack in the Shadows II (Hard)
- Obtained By: Break 10000 Shadow Oak Logs/Dark Skyroot Logs.
- Rewards: 15 Credits, 20,000 Coins, 1 Gravitite Axe, 32 Shadow Oak Saplings and 32 Dark Skyroot Saplings.

Achievement Name: It's Magic~ You Knooooow~ (Easy)
- Obtained By: Break 100 Magic Logs.
- Rewards: 1,000 Coins and 1 Magic Sapling.

Achievement Name: He's Dead, Jim. (Easy)
- Obtained By: Break 100 Dead Logs.
- Rewards: 1,000 Coins and 1 Log.

Achievement Name: Pink, Pink and... More Pink. (Easy)
- Obtained By: Break 100 Cherry Logs.
- Rewards: 1,000 Coins, 1 Pink Cherry Sapling and 1 White Cherry Sapling.

Other Achievements

Achievement Name: Sugar Addiction (Hard)
- Obtained By: Break 15000 Sugar Cane.
- Rewards: 5 Credits and 64 Sugar.

Achievement Name: Gold Rusher (Medium)
- Obtained By: Win 5 Goldrush events.
- Rewards: 1 Perfect Diamond and 5 Gold Ingots.

i understand that u want to fix the economy with that and i like the idea but having achievements like destroyer of Worlds,Lumberjack in the shadows II,got wood?, casual mining or truly whatever II and III
arent hard, theyre just a waste of time and u wont have any fun doing this...i mean, thats a game right? and if u dont have any fun in a game u dont want to play this game anymore and removing the achievements again would make some players mad becouse they wanted to do em but cant do em anymore and maybe leave anyway....i would add daily quests or making a map with NPC´s giving u a quest like in grimlock where u maybe have to defeat a boss but i wouldnt add more then one achievement where u have to break/place +1 mio blocks or make secret achievements where
are some tips to make them at the spawn (on a sign) or in bookshelfs (rightclicking em)

I understand achievements tend to be more tedious than actually fun, but it gives people something to do. Daily quests for rewards could be a nice thing to have, they would have to be varied and require to do quite a lot of things though. Having a simple thing would only take 3 minutes, we need something that could take an hour to do and isn't just one thing like mining for diamonds.
For example; A daily quest could be:

Complete In Order:
- Chop 100 natural logs of any kind
- Plant 5 saplings of any kind
- Travel 1000 blocks in Deepvale or Greycliff
- Harvest 20 wheat
- Kill a boss
Reward: ?

Maybe you could even have difficulties of daily quests. When you log in or when your daily quest timer resets, you could recieve a pop up screen asking for which quest you desire, having options from easy, medium, hard or insane.

Easy: No boss killings, low traveling in blocks and plenty of destroying natural blocks like logs, stone or grass.
Medium: Up to 3 boss killings, medium traveling in blocks, plenty of destroying in natural blocks and a few farm blocks.
Hard: Up to 10 boss killings (including arena boss), large traveling in blocks, many natural blocks to destroy (including mobspawners, moss stone, dungeon stones), plenty of farming.
Insane: Up to 25 boss killings, large traveling in blocks, blocks to destroy, farm, search for, etc.. (Eg, a part could be to search for a rune)

Rewards would also depend on the difficulty and what steps have been set for the quest. Insane would always give something like a few perfect diamonds or tourmaline? Maybe point stars instead since the value of these items would decrease if we straight up gave them PD's or Tourmaline.

i would also redisign the achievements and put another design on the daily quests...maybe more like the vanilla achievement screen not that boring one we have already...i mean, its boring right?

Actually Pig has recently been working on Task Lists so if you guys want to suggest any feel free to. Remember each list would have set achievements (or "Tasks"). These can be new achievements or already existing achievements to be put on these lists. So feel free to suggest them.

Just to add to what arbr said, it works as simply an "achievement lister". It allows mods and admin to create lists of specific achievements that can either act as a guide or quest sort of thing, for example
- Beginners task list - Mine certain blocks, get a region, etc. (so the mentor system without the mentor)
- Infusement guide - create an Infusement book, get some white point stars... And finish with spider heads.

This means that we can easily and using an already existing achievement trigger system to create in game "guides" and "quests" without the hassle and issues of coding something from scratch and adding a whole new set of triggers. Due to this aswell, it means older players don't have to go back to the start and craft a shop chest etc. to complete a task list.
And as said before, mods and admin can create new task lists any time through in game commands, so any new features added can have their respective guides added in no time. A guide will be made for the commands for adding new tasks lists.

There will also be an option to give an additional reward when completing all the tasks in the task list, and a high score for most task lists completed, giving even more of an incentive for older players to complete them, along with the guide aspect for newer players.

Speaking of "daily quests" or tasks, that will be possible in this system aswell, with a special task list that tasks will change daily and can be queued a few days beforehand.

I wouldn't call it boring. Sure it's not as fancy as the new Minecraft one, but since our achievements are dynamic, such as they can be changed at any time while the server is running(though I'm assuming their new system uses json files to create the achievements as they seem to be using that for everything now?). It would be more effort than it's worth i think to fancify what is an easy to understand list.
