Now before you mention 'With shaders you can hold a torch out and it provides light' this is something else, what I mean is having a lantern/torch item that can be equipped in your 2 bonus slots or perhaps a new shield that provides light, or maybe even a 'ring of light' of sorts, just to make things easier when mining, so you can actually see. Even with the brightness turned all the way up it can still be fairly difficult to see and over all, I think this could be really useful.

And edit the Mining hat to do this
