I don't like it when I put a face like ": P" and it gets turned into something that doesn't look like it. Just looks like an open mouth to me.
That new one looks like a smiling face instead of a cat face. (it even says "happy"). I'm not saying that you picked the wrong thing, but I think if someone wants to put a smiley from the ones we have, then they can. If someone wants to put : P, then they shouldn't have to deal with it automatically turning into a smiley.

their is an option at the bottom of the page to "Disable smilies" on your post.
