Please, please, please, do the New World 512 Blocks high like it is possible in singleplayer.
To build on a 400 block high mountin is really awesome!
It should be possible to do that, also from the ressource side.

And with a 400 block high mountain you mean a 1x1 block tower?
you can already make a 200 block high mountain, why don't you start with that.

I believe what he means is that, in fact, mountains WILL generate up to 400 blocks tall (in extreme hills only? not sure) which is INSANELY cool. I've used world generators that do it, and it rocks. I wasn't aware that spoutcraft did it, though.

It really is insanley cool even the hills in 256 are much more higher like they are in minecraft standard.
With 512 you can really dig a lot of shi. out of the ground. Mines can be really deep and houses can be just awesome.
The 1024 or higher map sizes need insanley ressource capacities and are not possible i think.

But there could be a problem for players with bad inet connection in a 512er world.

Zarvon hit the point.
Sorry i m no nativ english speaker so my english lacks in case of meaning and information sometime plus I m not good in grammar.

I quite like the "no griefing" rule on this server and I frankly don't see how PvP or griefing would add to the enjoyment of the game.

Towns will be added, players will be able to claim land on their own that can't be griefed. PvP and griefing add realtime competition to the server, they also help cycle out players that have too many items, people may come together to become stronger and safer. It does add some difficulty to the game, which is good because this is way too easy for the players.

As people lose items, they will need to replace them. This will slow down the process of gathering all the diamonds and valuables you possibly can before you get bored of the server, because you have everything you could ever need.
