Yeah, me too, but the whole idea of the topic was to come up with ideas to increase voting, and I think there have been a lot of admirable ideas. We'll need to talk to nide to see how to do it (I know that since he uses votifier, he can already track who votes, but adding "credits" might be harder.)

When this is launched, will we receive credits immediately for votes before its added? That would be nice, I've already been voting everyday. Also, I love the idea of buying unobtainables. If this is added it would effectively Resurrect the economy.

All vote since somewhere around last year march have been counted, i think it was said before, you check your current balance with: /stats stats votes.
And I don't think the economy will restore with just this, it will probably get worse, since in the begin there will be loads purchased and then sold again because they don't have much to do with them.
And because they didn't cost them any money, they could sell them for a low price.

Don't count earlier votes. Would just cause problems with people joining at the same time of the feature being added, being just as loyal, but getting less of a reward. Also, 3 months worth of voting instantly? 'Cause that can't end horribly.

Alot of the veteran players have 40-75 votes.

I don't really think it's a good idea to have Veteran backup votes at all; blob's right, it would give anyone with 20+ votes a large advantage. Annoying. We could, however, give them a little "credit boost"; basically, they'd get a very small amount of credits for their previous votes. Say, for instance, a player had voted 50 times before. Each vote would give a player 5 credits. But because they're onld votes, the player with 50 old votes would just get 50 credits. A nice boost so they can buy the new items, sure - but not a crazy jump in prices.

On our server we had the votifier plugin too. We gave 3 alternatives as reward for voting.
1. 3 Diamonds per vote
2. 3 Emeralds per vote
3. 5 exp-flas per vote

It could work if we use instead emeralds one standard moa egg (colors) and instead exp-flask I would give them gravitite.

It doesn t matter because of the economy is on every server shit without quest or rpg plugin and only very few servers did good quest stories for rpg.
