Add a 5 credit boost for first vote, to drag people in. This seems like a plan. What is crucial is getting players to vote within the first 1-5 days. During this period, they should get 2 credits a day, or similar bonuses. Also, weekly bonuses - if they vote 7 days in a row, they get another bonus....
