Does not help you are right, lol . but i thought i needed a silk touch pickaxe to mine the spawners? i have a cave spider one marked out but was waiting for a silktouch enchant.

having a little trouble setting up a mob spawner, first i tried a natural spawner and it didnt work ( only 4 mobs in 2 minecraft days). I was told that there is a low spawn rate here and to buy spawners because they are cheap. Did that and now the mobs despawn before they get to the end of my spawne...
